Stickman Billiards
The goal of this site is to bring pool players together to share our knowledge and information about the great sport of Pool. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a novice pool player just starting your journey, this site is for you. In order for this sport that we love so much to grow we must teach those who want to learn and ask those who are willing to teach. And that is the reason behind the manifestation of Stickman Billiards. Pool is a fun yet challenging sport, so I have created a forum were we can ask questions and provide helpful answers. I will post weekly tips and how to information. And there is also an area to share pool tournament locations, dates and times. So if you are interested in viewing or submitting pool tournament information please visit that page. By joining the forum and sharing information we can all help each other.
Most importantly I want this site to be a fun place where all of us pool enthusiasts can share our experiences and gain friendship.

Don't be afraid to ask.
In pool, being off by millimeters can have a large effect on whether you make a good shot or a bad shot. It is very difficult to self diagnose an issue with your mechanics and form. So don't be afraid to ask a fellow player to watch you take some shots. Most often a good player can tell you if there is something not right or if you are rushing or jumping up on your shot.

Thinking about buying a pool table? Here is a size estimate chart for how much space is needed. Keep in mind this chart is only allowing for the table and enough space for a standard 58" cue. You'll need to factor in extra space for other objects such as tables and chairs. |
